Turn tech help into outreach

SilverTech Society is a ministry that bridges generations - building meaningful relationships, restoring purpose, and sharing God’s love in practical, hands-on ways.

We equip Young Adults (ages 18–29) to help older adults confidently use smartphones, tablets, and digital tools. In return, mature adults (ages 55+) offer mentorship, wisdom, and encouragement—forming genuine, Christ-centered connections.

This ministry creates a welcoming space where faith is lived out through service, and guests feel the warmth of a spirit-led community.

We provide everything you need:

  • Training materials

  • Session guides

  • All course documentation

  • Website Management

  • Marketing Campaigns

  • Ongoing support and consultation

Your church becomes a place where generations grow together in unity, service, and love.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What does our church need to provide to launch this ministry?

A: Just a welcoming space, a few tables and chairs, and a heart for intergenerational connection. We provide all the training, templates, and support — no special tech equipment or team is required.

Q: Who trains the young adults and helps them get started?

A: You do! But SilverTech will provide the ready-to-use training materials that you can use in a group setting or share individually. We also offer guidance for church leaders to support and encourage the young adults as they begin.

Q: What kind of time commitment does this involve?

A: It’s flexible. Most churches run the program for 4-6 hours/day 2 to 5 days/week; but this is entirely up to you and based on your church's needs. You can start small and grow based on your church’s capacity. We help you set a rhythm that works for your church and your community.

Q: Do we need both young adults and seniors already attending our church?

A: Not at all. SilverTech is designed to reach beyond your walls — it can bring in new guests from the surrounding community, including seniors seeking tech help and young adults looking to serve. It’s a great outreach opportunity.

Q: What if we don’t have a tech-savvy team?

A: No problem. The young adults we train are the ones offering the tech support — not your staff. And our resources are designed for anyone to lead, regardless of their own tech expertise.

Q: Can this be run by a volunteer instead of a pastor?

A: Absolutely. Many churches have a youth leader, outreach coordinator, or lay volunteer who can serve as the main point of contact. We design the program to be turnkey and easy to delegate.
