Bring SilverTech Society to Your Community

An innovative program that builds community
Part Tech Club, Part Social Ministry, 100% Community
Imagine a Pathfinder club with Apple Store Energy - For Adults!
What if your church could host a ministry that brings generations together through training? But instead of learning how-to navigate the wilderness, it's about how-to navigate technology needed for today's world.
That’s the vision behind SilverTech Society—a church-based club where young adults (18–34), many of whom are seeking purpose and community, are trained to support mature adults (50+) with technology. These young mentors are guided by adult leaders (35–49) who manage the program and bridge the generations.
A club designed to build connections, naturally.
Each week, your church becomes a welcoming space where generations gather for learning, games, snacks, and spiritual conversation. Young adults receive tools to build confidence, connection, and professional development. Mature adults receive support, increased engagement, and opportunities for mental enrichment. And between the apps and Wi-Fi tips, something deeper happens—community building through friendship.
SilverTech Society turns your church into a place where generations grow together in unity, service, and love.

1 Adult Leader onsite at all times (recommended age 35-49)

And More!
Q: Who trains the young adults and who helps them get started?
A: We will conduct the orientation and one initial training for your young adults, which you may record. You can onboard new young adult members yourself (recommended) or use the recording.
Depending on the needs and focus of your club, you have the option to use the certified training program we created for your young adults to help them grow professionally.
Our professional development curriculum includes modules on customer service, professionalism in the workplace, disability training, tech training, and more! We also offer guidance for church leaders to support and encourage the young adults as they begin.
Q: How much does it cost to participate?
A: Our pricing is designed to make this ministry easy to adopt and sustainable for any church. We will come to your church as part of a weekend program to get your club launched. All essential training and starter tools are included in the base pricing.
Since this program touches so many departments (Community Service, Youth & Young Adult, Senior, Communication), multiple departments can use part of their budget to the program.
There is also a low annual fee to maintain the quality of the program as technology changes and updates to the courses and materials are needed.
The total program costs IN THE FIRST YEAR will be between $2,900 - $5,500 (depending on partnerships with other churches - see below).
Starting in the second year, the yearly cost will be between $1,000 - $2,000 each year you continue the program - depending on the package you choose. There are also opportunities to lower costs even further by:
Sharing initial training with other churches, OR
Teaming up with a local church to form one shared club, OR
Save next year with Church Referrals (successful referrals are churches that start a SilverTech Society club) . Depending on your package, 10+ Referrals can result in a free year of services!
Would you love to bring this program to your church but find it out of your budget for this year? Use the button below to fill out our contact form, we will add you to the list of interested churches in your conference.
Q: What kind of time commitment does this involve?
A: It’s flexible. We recommend that your church run the program for at least 4 hours on 1 day per week; but this is entirely up to you and based on your church's needs. You can start small and grow based on your church’s capacity. We can help you set a rhythm that works for your church and your community.
Some suggestions we've heard are to open up after a "Senior midday prayer meeting", or on a day when sick and shut-in members are transported to the church for fellowship, or on Sunday after Pathfinders.
The best idea is to poll your local members to see what time works best for them.
Q. What Makes this Program Faith-based?
A: All of our training material for the young adult Tech Concierge program has Bible verses and key christian concepts woven throughout. As one example, for our module called "Communication tools", the focus for that lesson is Col. 4:6 - "Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone." And our module on "Finding the answers", has the key focus on James 1:5 - "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you."
Depending on the model of your program, we have suggestions that range from prayer before classes (inviting the Holy Spirit to open minds to what is being taught) for clubs focused on Inreach, to a curated literature corner (where community members can take and read whatever might be relevant to them) for clubs engaging heavily in Outreach.
Q: Who should lead the SilverTech Society ministry at our church?
A: Ideally, an adult leader between 28-45 who has a passion for connecting people.
Some churches have a young adult pastor who can run the program, an outreach coordinator, a church elder, or other lay volunteer who can serve as the main point of contact.
Some churches have decided to run the society out of a department that already has a leader that fits the criteria, or out of a department that has the budget and can add a leader. Some popular departments are: media/communications, family life, senior ministries, young adult ministries, community service, personal ministries and others.
Our longterm goal is to someday have this ministry become it's own department at your church with it's own nominated ministry leader.
We design the program to be turnkey and easy to delegate.
Q: What if we don’t have a tech-savvy leader?
A: No problem. The young adults that are trained are the ones offering the tech support — not your staff. And our resources are designed for anyone to lead, regardless of their own tech expertise.
Q: Do we need both young adults and seniors already attending our church?
A: Not at all! SilverTech is designed to reach beyond your walls — it can bring in new guests from the surrounding community, including both those seeking tech help and young adults looking to serve. It’s a great outreach opportunity.
Please get in touch, we can help! We have resources to assist you with ways to attract young adults to your church to participate in this ministry. We also can help you find adults aged 50+ in your local community who need assistance with technology.
